How to access rubah on mobile
We at rubah offer three paths to mobile access: Android APK direct download, iOS Safari or Chrome browser, and web-app bookmark. Each path has the same account backend—your balance, transaction history, and withdrawal status sync across all devices. The choice depends on your device and preference.
Android APK installation
Our rubah Android app is distributed as an APK file. You download it directly from our website, not from the Google Play Store. To install, enable "Unknown sources" in your Android security settings, then open the APK file. Android will prompt you to confirm the installation. Once installed, the app appears on your home screen like any other app. You sign in with your rubah username and password, and your account data loads immediately.
The Android app stores your login session locally, so you do not need to re-enter your password every time you open it. We encrypt this session data. If you lose your phone, your account remains secure because we require two-factor authentication for withdrawals and password resets. The app does not store your password in plain text.
iOS browser access
iOS users access rubah through Safari or Chrome. Open your browser, navigate to rubah.app, and sign in. iOS does not allow third-party app installation outside the App Store, so we recommend bookmarking the rubah website on your home screen. This creates a web-app shortcut that behaves like a native app—it opens full-screen and remembers your login session.
Browser access on iOS is as secure as the Android app. Your login session is encrypted. We support two-factor authentication through SMS or authenticator apps. Payment confirmations via DANA, e-wallet, or mobile banking work the same way in the browser as they do in the Android app.
Installation steps
- Download: Visit rubah.app on your mobile device and download the Android APK or bookmark the site on iOS.
- Install: On Android, enable Unknown sources in Settings, then open the APK file and confirm installation. On iOS, add the website to your home screen.
- Register or sign in: Create a new rubah account or sign in with your existing username and password.
- Verify your identity: Complete KYC verification by uploading a valid ID document. This takes a few minutes and is required before you can deposit or withdraw.
App vs. browser: which is faster?
The Android APK app loads slightly faster than the browser because it caches data locally on your phone. You can view your account balance and recent bets even if your internet connection is slow. Push notifications arrive faster in the app—you receive alerts about bet settlements, deposit confirmations, and withdrawal status updates without refreshing the page. The browser version works just as well for most users, but the app is optimized for speed and offline access. Both versions support Liga 1, Piala Indonesia, Piala AFF, and live-dealer tables like blackjack, roulette, and Dragon Tiger.
Device compatibility
Our rubah Android app requires Android 7.0 or later. Most phones sold in the last five years meet this requirement. iOS users need iOS 12 or later to access rubah through Safari or Chrome. We support both iPhone and iPad. If your device is older, you can still access rubah through a web browser on any device with an internet connection.
Common installation issues
If you see a warning that the APK is from an unknown source, this is normal. Android requires you to explicitly allow installation from sources outside the Play Store. Go to Settings → Security → Unknown sources and enable it. If your phone says the certificate is not trusted, this is a security check—your phone is verifying that the APK comes from rubah. We sign our APK with a valid certificate, so you can proceed safely. If installation fails, try clearing your browser cache and downloading the APK again. If the app crashes on startup, restart your phone and try again.
Data, permissions, and account security
We at rubah ask for specific permissions on your phone: location (to verify you are in a supported jurisdiction), contacts (optional, for account recovery), and camera (to upload your ID during KYC). We do not sell your data. We do not share your phone number with third parties. Your location data is used only to check that you are accessing rubah from a jurisdiction where our service is available. If you deny these permissions, you can still use rubah, but some features—like account recovery via SMS—may not work. Your password is never stored on your phone in plain text. We use industry-standard encryption for all data stored locally on your device.
